Jersey Boys Shines in Singapore!

Mayo Martin, TodayOnline.com: Jersey Boys finds that perfect balance between being an archetypal band profile (the idea of the bassist as an everyman goofball, for one) and one that’s distinctly The Four Seasons (in one scene, they comment about their place in the US music scene during the British Invasion of the ’60s).
And in doing so, it manages to veer away from what could potentially be a mere success story. Instead, it offers us something richer, more nuanced, and more human. While this musical one seems the least catchy: It doesn’t have the visual extravagance of The Lion King or Wicked; the sexy glam of A Chorus Line; or the feel-good factor of Annie. But like the four unassuming young men who simply gave it a go at the start and ended up being legends, Jersey Boys will eventually charm you with its generous heart, gentle wisdom, and cheeky spunk.
BlogCritics.org: The performances are the strongest points of the show. Perfectly pitched, all the singers give rousing renditions of the songs from the ’60s and ’70s, in costumes that impeccably reflect that era. Switching seamlessly between delivering dialogue and singing the tunes, all four of the main cast prove themselves to be versatile and multi-talented on stage.
Jersey Boys is absolutely mesmerizing and enchanting, and for a rousing good time don’t miss this phenomenal musical, for Jersey Boys is full of talent, heart and emotion – after all, it’s a true story they’re telling. And what a story it is!

I truely was mesmerised throughout the entire show! What with the moving musics, great actors, actresses, musiciansand many more including the great storyline ( seriously I want to meet the real 4 Seasons if I could someday), it is no wonder without a doubt people just keep coming for more!
PS. I really love all the characters but I would have to say my fav is Tommy DeVito ( Daniel Buys )
