Jersey Boys Stays Strong While Other Shows Dip

Variety.com reports that the Broadway box office took a dive at the start of the month, with grosses dropping by close to $3 million for the week that ended Sunday.

While quite a few shows noted a major dip in last week’s grosses, Jersey Boys stayed comparatively strong, grossing $1,159,592 for the week ending March 4, 2007. Additionally, JB was the ONLY sold out show on Broadway last week, and was only one of two productions who were in the millionaires’ club last week (the other being Wicked).

For the week ending 3/4/07, Broadway box office grosses totaled $15,380,054 for the 30 shows on the boards
