Jersey Boys Takes Columnist Back in Time

Parker’s New York friends thought that because she grew up in New Jersey, she would identify with, at the very least, the title. Before entering the theater, she had no idea how many of the Four Seasons’ songs she knew by heart, then realized that the group made up the background noise of her formative years. Reminiscing about Valli & the Seasons’ massive hits, Parker states, “Is it any wonder I turned out to be the person I am today with short, falsetto, very Catholic Frankie telling the pre-pubescent me all night long he was ‘working his way back with a burning love inside’?â€
