JLY Will Return to JB for Several-Month Extension After Vacation
October 2nd, 2006John Lloyd Young has announced on his blog that he will return to Jersey Boys following his two-week vacation that begins today:
Toddlers across the country are exhausted from worrying that today was my last performance in JERSEY BOYS. The next time your toddler demands you play “Sherry” for the fifth time in a row, tell her John Lloyd Young is supposed to come back for a several-month extension after a well-deserved two-week vacation, starting tomorrow.
I was pleased to hear JLY is going to stay with Jersey Boys for awhile.He certainly needs & deserves a two week vacation.

I saw JB on Thursday (absolutely amazing), and JLY said that he was planning on coming back for an extention after his 2 week vacation, but nothing had been signed yet.

Since we will be in NY this week we are so sad that he will not be in the show this week, but he does deserve a vacation!
So glad to hear that he will stay for a few months. We’ll just need to go back to NY.

We saw JLY & Jersey Boys Saturday–for the second time—& want to go again, but it’s a bit of a trip from Indiana! Some people in line at the stage entrance said they had been 5, 6, and 7 times!

I’m glad he’ll be returning. Anyone know how long several months is?? We plan to go again next June… fingers crossed he extends it again! He certainly deserves some time off.

Yes – and my toddler is one of them!!! Actually, she’s 15, her name is Allie and JLY and the “Boys” sang happy birthday to her in April!!!!
