Joseph Leo Bwarie to Sing National Anthem at International Gold Cup Race, 10/17

For Immediate Release from PRLog.org: On Saturday, October 17, Joseph Leo Bwarie, from the award-winning musical, JERSEY BOYS will sing the National Anthem at one of the premier social events in the Washington DC region–The International Gold Cup Races, which take place at Great Meadow in The Plains, Virginia.

Bwarie, who plays Frankie Valli in JERSEY BOYS, is a member of LA’s award-winning Troubadour Theater Co. and has performed on the Academy Awards, originated ‘Chachi’ in Happy Days: A New Musical, and co-created six original family musicals produced by Garry Marshall’s Falcon Theatre. In addition to theater, Bwarie has participated in TV and film productions including The Princess Diaries 2, Chronic Town, I Hate My 30s and 2009′s Race to Witch Mountain as ‘Frankie Valet.’ Bwarie will be performing in JERSEY BOYS, at the National Theatre October 1 through December 12.

“We are excited to have Joseph Leo Bwarie, on site to sing the national anthem at this year’s International Gold Cup races,” states Dr. William Allison, president of the Virginia Gold Cup Association.
