Michael Longoria: The Fifth Season!

January 3rd, 2007

On Christian Hoff’s blog, he noted that he wanted to give Michael Longoria an official welcome to the group! Michael now joins John Lloyd, Daniel, Bobby and Christian as the “Fifth” Season. Michael is now the official Valli cover and will continue earning a rightful share of the ovations for two performances a week.

Congratulations, Michael!

  1. Michael, a lot of people on the Broadway scene know you as a wonderfully gifted and gracious performer, and everyone is thrilled at your ascension as the “Fifth Season”.

You are obviously multi-talented, since after seeing your absolutely hilarious Joe Pesci, I was blown away by the soul and richness of your voice on your CD. It’s wonderful, and I play it nearly every day in my car. (“Stay” is my favorite cut.)

Finally, thanks for taking precious time to personally answer my e-mail in your moment of triumph. This will be your year, Michael; please enjoy every moment.

  4. The first time I saw “Jersey Boys” Michael appeared as Joe Pesci and was fantastic! The second time I bought a special package on eBay for VIP tickets/ Backstage Passes. I was disappointed that JLY was not appearing! Michael was “Frankie” during this performance and he was Superb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Michael made our backstage time very memorable. He gives great HUGS and what a smile!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. I saw Michael a year ago playing Frankie and I was at the Sept. 8th matinee where Michael was playing Frankie again. It was a fantastic show and I couldn’t get over how much Michael just stole the show. In a years’ time, he went from playing the lead to actaully being Frankie. The entire cast is wonderful and I look forward to seeing it a third time……..and maybe a fourth!
