May 9th, 2012JERSEY BOYS Broadway’s Jarrod Spector made an announcement on Twitter this morning:
My big news: After 1400 performances as Frankie Valli, I am leaving Jersey Boys as of June 4th to do a new show. More to come…
Jarrod has played the role of pop icon Frankie Valli on Broadway since September 30, 2008, after rave performances in the same role in the JB San Francisco and Chicago companies.
We congratulate Jarrod on his phenomenal JERSEY BOYS run and wish him the best in his upcoming future endeavors!
Congrats to Jarrod! Jersey Boys will miss you greatly but I’m sure more success is to come your way!

Jarrod, what can I say but “break a leg”. Success is your middle name and I will cherish the “times” we had in Chicago. Sorry I never got to NY to see you but I know you knocked them dead. Keep in touch and hope to see you in Chicago sometime. Best always.

You have always been a great performer from the time you said your first words.I never knew that was you on Talent Search until I saw the clips on JB Blog. ( you were the winner, in my eyes)
We saw you in Delray Beach this past April,FANTASTIC !!!! You will be missed very much . Whatever your next job is you’ll shine. In my opion there’s only 2 people that can do Frankie, You and John Lloyd Young. My very best to you,where ever you go.
