A veteran of the Broadway company, Scaglione previously played this role to acclaim in the Chicago and Las Vegas productions. Bwarie, who will be making his Broadway debut, played Valli to rave reviews across the country in the first national tour.

The two actors succeed John Lloyd Young, who originated the role and will play his final performance of his return engagement July 28.

  1. That is great news. It is fantastic to know that JLB will be returning to the Frankie role and Dominic has definitely earned the right to become the six show a week Frankie.

  2. Congratulations Dominic!

The first time I saw Jersey Boys, you played the part of Frankie and I knew, then and there, that I would be back to see you again and again. The beauty of your voice and your passion have made me a fan of yours forever!

    Best wishes!

  3. Lucky, Lucky NYC to be getting Joseph Leo Bwarie and congrats to him for this Broadway debut. I have seen JLB many times with the tour and his voice is flawless and perfect in the part of Frankie. I love Dom also, got to see him also and his “Fallen Angel” is wonderful. Best wishes to both of them.

  5. Congratulations to both gentlemen! Joseph Leo Bwarie’s Broadway debut in Jersey Boys is long overdue. It should have happened last year, after he left the tour. I’m so pleased to be able to see Joe’s fabulous Frankie again!
