Newsflash: Jersey Boys Will Be Working Its Way Back to NYC in Open-Ended, Off-Broadway Run in November!

Breaking news about JERSEY BOYS was ubiquitous today–with the announcement that the Tony-Award winning Broadway musical is coming back! In November, JERSEY BOYS will begin playing an open-ended run Off-Broadway, at New World Stages in Midtown Manhattan!

The production will have the same script and score as the Broadway production, but four fewer cast members, a smaller theater and lower ticket prices. The producers of the Off Broadway “Jersey Boys” will be Dodger Theatricals, which also handled the show’s Broadway and touring productions.

  1. Actually, I did see this coming, but I didn’t think it would happen this soon. This makes my heart so happy! It’s my goal to make sure Susie keeps this blog going well into her nineties! Dale may have to hand her a cool drink every now and then to keep her going????

  4. Music to my ears! I do recall the slightest rumble, hinting at this possibility during that final (or should I say – not so final) January weekend, but now we can take it to the bank!!

    I’m just not sure how I feel about the news being accompanied by a dynamic photo of the original Broadway cast, including Michael Longoria, Donnie Kehr, Ken Dow and a slice of Mark Lotito. Don’t toy with us! I guess saving for retirement will have to wait… just a little bit longer.
