  1. You bring back many happy memories here, Susie and Dale in regards to the cast and your coverage of all things JB! Although I attended several events related to cast and former cast members, I’m sorry to say, that I didn’t see JB at all this past year. I promise to make sure that changes in this new year! I’ll reminisce by sharing a re-write of a poem I wrote on the Forum a couple years ago.

    Enduring Show…New Year!

Some years ago…back before this great show,
I remember when life was routine and quite slow.

No venues to research, no availability to check,
No glancing the checkbook, no saying “What the heck.”

I got a funny feeling when I bought my first ticket,
I’d be able to walk away – either take it or leave it.

But no … back to my youth, yet accepting my age,
I’ve felt quite alive – like turning a page.

Hours on the Blog, and then on the Forum.
I wasn’t alone, we had more than a quorum.

Actors who were welcoming and also so warm,
Signed autographs and chatted after they would perform.

The original Four Seasons…and now so many more.
Lots of history to research for my nostalgic bus tour.

Casts are all over – like Vegas, Toronto,
London, Australia, a few more days in Chicago.

A production on Tour and one on Broadway.
Let’s hope that these will ne’er go away.

Oh sweet surrender… memories I hold dear.
Warm my heart now and will throughout the New Year.
