May 20th, 2011

Rick FaugnoBody & Soul starring Rick Faugno will light up the stage in Shimmer Cabaret on Friday, May 27 at 8:30 p.m.

The new show by song and dance man, Rick Faugno, the original Las Vegas Frankie Valli for “Jersey Boys,” is a tour de force of pop, rock, soul, funk, blues, jazz, Latin and just about every musical genre imaginable. Fresh off of his success with his first one man show “Songs My Idols Sang (And Danced),” which played to packed houses and rave reviews, Faugno returns with something completely different.

The musical boundaries have been broken with this eclectic mix of multiple styles, making for a rollercoaster ride of a show. This is a journey of self-expression through music and dance that recalls the great performers of the past. Nowhere else can you see one performer bring together so many different styles of music and make them his own.

Faugno studied acting/theater at B.F.A. New York University, his distinctive voice and dancing ability has landed him leading roles in “Fosse,” “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang,” “Conversations with my Father,” and “Wonderful Town.” He is also in the yet-to-be released film “Virgin Alexander.”

Tickets for Body & Soul starring Rick Faugno are $39-$49 (plus tax and service charge) and can be purchased at the Las Vegas Hilton box office or by logging onto www.lvhilton.com, www.vegas.com or by phone at 702-732-5755 or 1-800-222-5361.

  1. Rick Faugno is incredibly talented. Have seen him perform in the Jersey Boys four times. Plan on seeing him at the Hilton soon.
