Sneak Peek of Nikka Wahl’s ‘Show and Tell’ Interview
November 19th, 2012John Przybys, “Show and Tell” columnist of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, is spotlighting JERSEY BOYS cast member Nikka Wahl, who plays Francine and so many other roles in the company. Here’s a preview:
Q: How long have you been in “Jersey Boys”?A: I’ve been here since December 2009.
Q: But it’s not your first show?
A: My first role, my first job, was in “The Wedding Singer,” the first national tour. I graduated from Florida State, and it wasn’t too long after I graduated from college.
Q: Do you come from a performing family?
A: My parents are professional ballet dancers.
Q: So you must have been dancing in the womb.
A: (Laughs) My mom says that when she was pregnant with me – my mom was teaching at the time – whether it was “The Nutcracker” or whatever it was, my feet would just start, “tap, tap, tap, tap.”
