Although I’ve watched this clip countless times over the years, I still find little gems hidden within. I appreciate the honor given to Jersey as the birthplace of this story. I appreciate the way Frankie and Bob acknowledge the talent of the OBC and the awe the cast expresses over portraying the men who lived this journey.
Thank you to Marshall for pointing out that this is not just based on a true story, but one based on a GOOD story – one which is capable of transforming the lives it touches!

My wife and I were there the first week the show opened on Wednesday October 12th, 2005 for the 2:00 PM matinee. We sat in row 2 in the first two seats. The auditorium was filled. JLY sang “My Eyes Adored You” right in front of us and then went into “Dawn”.
My wife and I both thought at the time that JLY and Christian had good shots at a Tony Award.
We would later meet with JLY for a back stage tour right before a show.
Hard to believe that it is now 9 years later and 20 million people have seen the show worldwide …
