The Four Seasons: Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito, Charlie Calello, and Frankie Valli

How about this Four Seasons’ sheet music photo with Four Seasons members Tommy DeVito, Bob Gaudio, Frankie Valli–and temporary member Charlie Calello?! In 1965, Charlie joined The Four Seasons’ lineup as bassist, temporarily replacing Nick Massi until a permanent replacement could be found. The permanent bassist replacement, of course, was Joe Long, who remained in the group for ten years.

  1. this is one of my all time favorite 4 Season songs.
I still remember Frankie saying in a radio interview how out of respect for Frank Sinatra one night they decided not to sing this song. Jokingly he said he was afraid if Frank did not like it the mob would be on them. And then along came Joey Long, great musician ,front man and a total riot as a comedian ,picked on Frankie during shows about his suit, ” size one “. Bob Gaudios arrangement of this song showed his true talent
