Fascinating press photo of Frankie Valli during his Smash Records days, probably taken in the mid-1960s.
In 1965, Frankie released The Sun Ain’t Gonna Shine (Anymore)/This Is Goodbye on Smash Records, followed by (You’re Gonna) Hurt Yourself/Night Hawk (on the discography, it notes that it is Frankie Valli and The Valli Boys!). In 1966, Frankie recorded You’re Ready Now/Cry For Me for the label.
