Throwback Thursday: ‘The 4 Seasons Greetings’ Album Cover from 1962! #tbt
December 12th, 2013Back in 1962, when they were topping the charts with “Sherry” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” The 4 Seasons recorded “The 4 Seasons Greetings,” a collection of holiday favorites with their new, unique, sensational sound! In December 1962, their rendition of “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” peaked at #23 on the Billboard Hot 100. In December 1964, he quartet peaked at #19 on the Hot 100 with “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus.”
The album was reissued in 1966 on Philips Records with a new title and cover artwork. Stay tuned for that photo on another edition of Throwback Thursday!
