Today in Four Seasons Music History, September 15, 1962: Sherry Tops Billboard Hot 100 Chart!

The whole world exploded back in 1962 when “Sherry” by The 4 Seasons was recorded! Within weeks of playing on the radio, the song, written by Bob Gaudio in 15 minutes, topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart beginning on September 15, 1962 and remained at #1 for five consecutive weeks.
