Upcoming Screenings of ‘Oy Vey’ Starring John Lloyd Young!

Tickets are available for screenings of original JB Broadway cast member and Tony winner, John Lloyd Young’s first film, “Oy Vey, My Son Is Gay.†Young plays the title role of Nelson Hirsch in the upcoming feature film comedy opposite Lainie Kazan, Saul Rubinek, Vince Pastore, Bruce Vilanch, Jai Rodriguez and Carmen Electra. The film had its world premiere in Montreal last month before sold out audiences. With a name like Ester Goldberg, how could she NOT love this film?
One thing tho – does Ester’s review imply that Carmen Electra’s character is Jewish? I don’t remember many Jewish girls as hot as her around when I was dating … if there had been, there’d have been a lot fewer of us guys pursuing the fruit of the forbidden shiksa, as it were…
One more tidbit about Carmen – her character on Baywatch was named ‘Leilani “Lani” McKenzie.’ Isn’t it odd that that is virtually a mammogram – er, excuse me – I mean, an anagram for ‘Lainie Kazan?’ Coincidence or subtle influence on casting decision?
No matter – the cast and trailer look fantastic. I’m very eager to see this film!
