Vegas Jersey Boys ROCKED on Monday Night!
February 3rd, 2009Dateline: JERSEY BOYS VEGAS–LAST NIGHT!
Picture this: Fleeing from the library after a 6:30 class to the Tech Half’s getaway car! The normally “Mr. Cautious” Tech Half put the pedal to the metal and fled to the Palazzo for the amazing 7PM show, making it to the lobby with ten minutes to spare!
A Monday night show, I wondered? Would it be a more mellow, subdued crowd, compared to the weekend? Think again! This full-house crowd was on fire as Act 1 began! When the whole world exploded with “Sherry”–OMG, you could have heard this crowd at the Venetian–maybe even across the street at Treasure Island!
We were in for an unexpected treat with the multi-talented Kristofer McNeeley going on as Tommy DeVito, who did a terrific job! He took the audience on a two-hour ride of their lives from the minute he said, “I’m the guy you wanna talk to, because this whole thing started with me. Tommy DeVito, Belleville, New Jersey.”
Along with Kristofer, Rick Faugno, Jeff Leibow, and Erich Bergen as The Four Seasons, as well as the entire cast, were as always–tremendous!
Following the show, it was great to chat with Jason Martinez, John Salvatore, and Colin Trahan, along with mingling with two new Vegas fans, Heather and Alex, who really loved the show!
