There’s also a connection between “Summer In The City” by The Lovin’ Spoonful and Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. Artie Schroeck played the unforgettable electric piano solo on “Summer In The City” and arranged the unforgettable FV4S cover of “I’ve Got You Under My Skin” and the original FV4S standard, “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”, which has also been covered by numerous artists. Artie Schroeck wrote other songs, including “The Puppet Song” and played on and arranged some tracks on “Romancing The ’60s”.
