On December 27, 1975, 40 years ago this week, The Four Seasons debuted at No. 85 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with their single, “December, 1963 (Oh, What A Night).” This was the second consecutive Top Ten hit from their comeback album, “Who Loves You.” The title track peaked at No. 3 during the fall of 1975 and “December, 1963″ began a 3-week run at No. 1 on March 13, 1976 becoming their first chart-topper since 1964.

The song features drummer Gerry Polci on lead vocals, with usual lead Frankie Valli singing the bridge sections and backing vocals and bass player Don Ciccone singing falsetto.

Let’s go back to the first time you heard “Oh, What A Night…” We’d love for you to share your memories of the first time you heard this great song.
