With the big announcement that the Malaysian production of JERSEY BOYS will be free of profanity, JB fans have been chatting about what might be the JERSEY BOYS movie rating. So, we decided to do a poll on the topic!

For those of you who might want a quick refresher on the ratings, below is a summary from the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA):

  • G–General Audiences: Nothing that would offend parents for viewing by children.
  • PG–Parental Guidance Suggested: Parents urged to give “parental guidance.” May contain some material parents might not like for their young children.
  • PG-13–Parents Strongly Cautioned: Parents are urged to be cautious. Some material may be inappropriate for pre-teenagers.
  • R–Restricted: Contains some adult material. Parents are urged to learn more about the ?lm before taking their young children with them.
  • NC-17–No One Under 17 Admitted: Clearly adult. Children are not admitted.

  1. The Jersey Boys movie rating will probably be a PG.13… simply because some of the affiliation stories in the movie may not be appropriate for younger children. Specifically, during the times Frankie was “involved” and got into deep debt with these people.

For me personally, I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE MOVIE TO BE RELEASED. I WILL PROBABLY WATCH IT MANY TIMES AND BUY THE DVD IF IT COMES OUT. lUV FRANKIE, THE FOUR SEASONS AND THE JERSEY BOYS..
