Travis Cloer Sings

By Howard Tucker, Jersey Boys Blog Special Correspondent

The wonderfully talented Travis Cloer from the OBC has just released his new CD “Christmas from the City.” He says he’s had a wonderful time making it, with some new arrangements of some songs we may not have heard for a while, including:

  • Blue Christmas
  • Mary Did You Know
  • I’ll Be Home For Christmas
  • Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow
  • Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
  • The Christmas Song
  • The Little Boy that Santa Claus Forgot
  • White Christmas

This CD can be purchased via download from Travis’s MySpace music page: http://www.myspace.com/traviscloersings.

Please look for the music store on the left hand side of Travis’s MySpace music page. It’s very easy to purchase either the entire album or individual cuts. Travis welcomes comments to any and all of his songs, several of which have had 500 hits already.

We’ve all heard Travis’s marvelous pipes in Jersey Boys and on his MySpace! This CD is a real treat to help us kick off the 2007-2008 Holiday Season!

  1. GO TRAVIS! I just listened to some samples on your website. VERY well done! It’s about time for your own cabaret at the Laurie Beechman, don’t you think?

  2. Anyone and EVERYone should pick up at LEAST a few of Travis’ new Christmas tunes. I’ve known Travis for years, and this is his BEST STUFF to date. An absolute MUST for any fan of the season!

  4. Travis does a beautiful rendition of Dan Fogelberg’s “Same Auld Lang Syne” on the hard copy of his “Christmas from the City” CD. I know many of us were upset at Fogelberg’s untimely passing last week, and I keep playing Travis’s cut over and over. Actually, for a minute, Travis takes me back to my favorite Fogelberg album “The Innocent Age” with not only “Auld Lang”, but “Leader of the Band” and “Run for the Roses”.

Travis tells me he couldn’t secure the rights to “Auld Lang” to make it available for download, but that he does still have some hard copies of his great CD. He can be contacted through MySpace or at [email protected] if you wish to purchase a copy.
