Christopher Kale Jones’ Reflections on Jersey Boys

April 27th, 2008

The University News has an in-depth interview with Christopher Kale Jones, who talks about the demands of singing 27 songs in the Tony Award-winning show and the joys of playing the legendary singer.

Christopher Kale Jones gets more sleep in one night than most people. The actor, who plays Frankie Valli in the musical “Jersey Boys,” said that he has to sleep eight to nine hours each night and stay hydrated to keep his vocal stamina going.

“My vocal muscles are tight after singing 27 songs in the show,” he said.

Jones continued, “I certainly started my love for theater with musical theater,” and noted that Jersey Boys is a “fun, rollicking experience” for both the actors and the audience.
