We’re excited to report that as of TODAY, Dominic Scaglione, Jr. will be returning to JERSEY BOYS Broadway as the two-show Frankie Valli! He will be on stage at the August Wilson Theatre during the Wednesday and Saturday matinee performances that begin at 2:00 PM.

JBB asked Dominic: You’ve played the Frankie Valli role in Vegas, on Broadway, in Chicago, and even in Singapore! What does it mean to you to be back in Jersey Boys on Broadway?

Dominic stated: As an East Coast kid who grew up breathing the same air as these guys, coming back to New York to tell this story makes me so proud. When you’re traveling with the show, you feel like you are on a mission to tell this remarkable story to folks who wouldn’t normally know what it’s like to trust someone over a handshake. Not to say that there aren’t stand-up men and women across the globe who have their own special bonds and relate to this show and music to their core, but when I say to Bob, ‘a Jersey handshake,’ here on Broadway, there is a reaction like no other.

When I’m home and about 17 miles away from where it all began, there is a certain magic. I sense the ghosts around me and I think about the history of this moment in time. In her infinite wisdom, the other day my mother said to me, ‘Hey Dim (that’s what she calls me sometimes), you chased the music….and now you’re home.’

Congratulations and welcome back to Broadway, Dominic–and break a leg today!
