   Frieda, Nancy & I have not been able to stop talking & thinking about MYTH…You were phenomenal. Your voice just keeps growing more beautiful each time we hear you sing, and of course, there aren’t enough words to describe your amazing acting.     Wishing you a very Happy Birthday this 4th of July. You bring us so much happiness and that’s what we wish for you on your special day and always. We recorded last year’s Macy’s Day segment of you singing “What a Wonderful World” and we are playing it now… “WHAT A MAGNIFICENT VOICE”. Now I will be singing that song over and over again… hearing your voice.

    We loved seeing you perform in MYTH; what a treat for us!!! Having seen you in a different venue, confirmed that we will enjoy you in any role you play (with one exception and you know what that is)

    We’ll be thinking of you at 8:00pm tonight as you begin your performance.

14. Just came in from LA, JLY, and coincidentally stayed at the Holiday Inn on N. Highland within walking distance of the Hollywood Bowl. Looking forward to seeing you and Jen Naimo in “Les Miz” there on August 9.

    Hope you had a wonderful birthday, John. You’ve given so much to so many people, and I’m so happy some of the karma is coming back to you.

    Lastly, when are you going to give me the name of your dentist?? I’ve had so much dental work this year trying to look more like you, but it just ain’t workin!!!

    It’s been a busy weekend, so I missed the news about your birthday until just now. A happy belated birthday wish to you. Been missing you in the lead role in Jersey Boys on Broadway, but it was great seeing and hearing you perform at Jazz at Lincoln Center earlier this year. Also, nice to hear you’re involved in a couple of theatrical productions this summer. Hope to catch you the next time you perform in a New York City venue.

25. This is such a great tribute to you, JLY. Had dinner with our buddy David Cace last night and we were talking about your wonderful memory of names and faces and facts about all your fans, and perhaps your greatest gift, the wonderful ability to say “thanks” to everyone.

    Now, John, I am planning on seeing you in Les Miz on August 9, but I’m hearing these rumors about your growing your hair long for the production. Please tell me I’ll recognize you; I’m having flashbacks of John Lennon circa 1967 and Arlo Guthrie in the early 1970′s!!
