Jersey Boys Breaks Box Office Record in Philly for Second Straight Week; Rocks on Broadway & Has Been Named 12th Biggest Broadway Hit of All Time!

News from JERSEY BOYS: For the second straight week, the Philadelphia engagement of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning musical JERSEY BOYS broke the box office record at the Forrest Theatre for the week ending October 17. The hit musical grossed $1,262,731. This tops the previous record of $1,225,598, that they set the week ending October 10.

On Broadway, JERSEY BOYS grossed $1,112,513 and had a 99.9% attendance rate for the week ending October 17, 2010. The 31 shows on the boards grossed $19,676,095, virtually unchanged from the previous week.

And–according to cnbc.com, on its fifth birthday on November 6, JERSEY BOYS will become the 12th biggest Broadway hit of all time!!

  1. Please tell me when “Jersey Boys” will be coming to Portland, Oregon. I want to be the first to get tickets and first in line. I have been waiting for years to see the show and can’t afford to travel to other areas where you are performing. I am waiting with bated breath.
    Please hurry so my husband can hopefully celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary watching you perform. It would be the highlight of my night.
    Please respond so I can mark it on my calendar and start saving and planning, as I live about 2 hours outside of Portland and would have to spend the night in Portland.

    Jersey Boys will be playing in Portland during the 2011-12 season, but the dates haven’t been announced yet. We’ll be sure to post the dates as soon as the official Jersey Boys national tour page announces it on their site: http://www.jerseyboysinfo.com/tour/
