Jersey Boys Comes to Western Canada in 2012!
May 19th, 2011News from CanadaBusiness.com: Dates in Western Canada have been announced for the Tony®, Grammy® and Olivier Award winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. The musical will make its Western Canada premiere playing Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and Saskatoon in 2012.
JERSEY BOYS is the winner of the 2006 Best Musical Tony Award®, the 2006 Grammy® Award for Best Musical Show Album, the 2009 Olivier Award for Best New Musical and the 2010 Helpmann Award for Best Musical (Australia).
Directed by two-time Tony Award®-winner Des McAnuff (born and raised in Ontario Canada), JERSEY BOYS is written by Academy Award-winner Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe and choreography by Canadian Sergio Trujillo.
JERSEY BOYS is presented by Dancap Productions Inc. at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Calgary June 28 – July 15, 2012; the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton August 15 – September 2, 2012; the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver September 5 – 23, 2012; and the TCU Place in Saskatoon September 26 – October 13, 2012.
