JLY & Bobby Spencer to Appear at “Broadway Barks” 7/8/06
June 19th, 2006Backstage.com reports that Tony Award-winner John Lloyd Young, in addition to Michael Cerveris, and Carol Kane will be among the many musical theatre performers to join the dogs and cats in need of adoption at the eighth annual “Broadway Barks!” event on July 8, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Shubert Alley, between 44th and 45th streets and Broadway and Eighth Avenue. Other celebrities who will be on hand to present animals for adoption include Jersey Boys’ Bobby Spencer, Victoria Clark, from The Light in the Piazza, and Georgia Engel and Bob Martin of The Drowsy Chaperone.

Since July 8th is a Saturday, does this mean that the people participating in this event will not be performing in the Saturday matinee that starts at 2pm (since the event is from 3:30-6:30pm)
