Visit to watch John Lloyd Young’s Broadway Beat interview! In this interview, the Tony Award-winning actor spoke about his Broadway debut in Jersey Boys, the excitement of his portrait being placed on the wall at Sardi’s and playing the Frankie Valli role for the first time in front of Valli himself.

  1. This was new for me tonight, and I love it!!!!!

You realize how much you miss John watching this, so it’s really nice to have something like this… :-)

  2. That was a great video! I loved watching JLY during the interview. He’s always so personable and eloquent.

Seeing that just makes him all the more endearing and the very best for him!

  3. JLY, you have a quality that is so REAL that makes you connect immediately to your audience. “When WILL we see you again??” Can’t be soon enough!

  4. Maybe you felt bad about the person who didn’t get the part (lol) but we were so thrilled you did get the part! You also got all of us – thousands and thousands of lifelong fans who love you. IE

  5. Irene is right on that we are sooo glad that YOU got the part. It also makes me feel sad that we have to see you soon in something. I am starting to feel withdrawal. Give us something to look forward to!

  6. I know it’s kinda way after the interview, but I just saw the video and up til now I’ve never really heard John talking out-of-character and to the people. He’s so down-to-earth and sweet. You don’t find too many entertainers nowadays that keep in touch with their fans and appreciate all that they do. He’s an angel; he really is….
