New Altar Boyz Star Sang with Original Jersey Boy
September 21st, 2006Broadway.com’s “Fresh Face” column has a feature on Landon Beard, who is currently making his New York stage debut as Luke, the self-styled “ghetto” member of off-Broadway’s Altar Boyz. Beard, 27, is a San Diego native with a degree in musical theatre from Cal State. After graduation, he landed a job with the original Jersey Boy himself, Frankie Valli. Here’s what Beard said about his days on the road with Valli :
“It got me out of studio work and into live performing, which was wonderful. We got to tour all over. Frankie’s a great guy, and he’s been totally supportive of me.”
