Isn’t this a fab shot of the legendary Frankie Valli in a recording studio in the 1960s?! There’s an phenomenal website, HistoryofRecording.com, that has massive photos of The Four Seasons, Bob Crewe, and many musicians from back in the day. Click HERE to check it out.
The photos are GREAT! I wish there were names identifying the musicians. Are there any pictures of Nick Massi with the group?

Rich – No pictures of Nick. These are a few in which Joe Long shows up, so that would indicate Nick had departed the group already.
Susie – There are also sections devoted to The Platters, Simon and Garfunkel, Janis Ian, Aretha and others. One common thread…there was a lot of smoking going on! Frankie was a Parliament man.

I’ve seen pictures of Bob Gaudio with a cigarette also. Music stands had ashtrays attached.
Frankie Valli was a Parliament fan? Not the Psychedelic R & B Band from Plainfield, New Jersey but the cigarette?
