Richard H. Blake, who stars as ‘Tommy DeVito’ in Jersey Boys Broadway, answered some fun questions for BroadwayWorld.com. Here’s a preview below:
Q: What is the first Broadway show you ever saw?
A: A Chorus Line (the original) was the first show I ever saw on Broadway. I did see the National tour of Annie before that in my hometown.
Q: What is your most unique pre-show ritual?
A: Well I’m a little OCD with my pre show process. I have to do everything in the same order. Hair, physical warmup, put my mic on, brush my teeth use the restroom and then get dressed. Then I sing the first line of my first song. Except I sing it as high as I can. That way I have a feel of where my voice is at.
