  1. This was my first chance to see a cast other than the OBC perform and they did the show justice. I enjoyed seeing their performance. It always good to see JB perform to a large crowd and see reactions of first timers!

  2. They were good. But,they were not the Tony Award winning cast, as introduced by the announcer. The show might be the same all over the country, but the casts are not.

  3. Which cast was it? I saw it with John as Frankie and did not think that was him but it was over a year ago.

  4. Yeah, you’re right…I noticed that incorrect introductory remark, too. Wouldn’t it be great to see all the different casts perform in one show? Each cast could perform a couple of songs, and they could all sing the last one together (it’s my favorite!). This could be a dynamic benefit performance. Okay, obviously it’s been awhile since I’ve seen JB and this is just a dream!

  6. Why wasn’t Frankie at the awards show? Or did I miss him.

  7. cindihk, the subject header of this blog entry says which cast it was. ;)

Logistically this was the only cast which could take time off to perform at the Emmys.

  8. Awesome guys. This is what you call REAL entertainment!!!! My whole household sat at up and just were all excited singing with the guys, this is what viewers want to see, it keeps our attention unlike the unappealing visually and disturbing audio so called, “entertainment” of today. Got a winner here, keep going with it!!!
    God bless America,

  9. The 2nd Nat’l Tour of Jersey Boys really lit up the stage! Since this was their cast’s 1st nationally televised performance (Michael Ingersoll’s and Jarrod Spector’s 2nd, since they were with the 1st Nat’l Tour on the “Tonight Show”), they did great and I can’t wait to see them at the Curran next Sunday!

It’s true that they are leaving SF in two weeks, but what a gift they gave to us here! Their friendship and professionalism onstage kept us coming back to the Curran, and now, Chicago is in for a huge treat!

Congratulations for a very successful performance at the Emmy’s!
