Four Seasons fan extraordinaire Brian Campbell posted this on Facebook!

Does anyone remember seeing this advertisement for The Four Seasons’ 1965 album, “The 4 Seasons Entertain You”? Was the original album signed by the guys?

Truly a fascinating marketing approach, isn’t it?

  1. I guess the boys were betting on the adult market for their future. Who knew?

Nice lp.some originals…great covers..showtunes..and a few hits to boot. Afficianatos note that the second pressing of this lp included “Toy Soldier” at the expense of “Sunday Kind Of Love”.

Yes, the signatures were printed on the lp.

Side story… I was in NYC in the early 80′s and Colony Record Store (since been closed) had a real autographed copy of the lp behind glass…I believe it was about $10.00….why didn’t I buy it??? Again, who knew?
