June 24th, 2008

Variety.com reports that Turn of the Century, a new tuner from the Jersey Boys team of Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, is set to run from September 19-October 25 at the Goodman’s Albert Theater in Chicago! The musical will star Jeff Daniels and Rachel York and will be directed by Tommy Tune.

While the musical is not being positioned as a Broadway tryout, commercial producers are expected to be watching closely for transfer potential.

  1. Best wishes for Rick Elice and Marshall Brickman. They did a fantastic job writing Jersey Boys and even though I have seen it over 30 times, I still laugh and “tear up”. I hope “Turn of the Century” makes it to Broadway. Good luck!!!
