“No one cares?” I was very happy to see Frankie appear on American Idol after all these years. I can’t say whether the Partnership has restricted the use of their songs or if the producers just wouldn’t put Valli songs on the contestants’ pick lists, but it has been an extremely rare thing to have their songs used. “Beggin’” being the exception to the rule, last year(?). If you didn’t talk this appearance before over 20 million viewers up among family and friends, why not? These chances don’t come along very often. End of rant.

god bless you frankie at 79 you were the star of the show, and most of the 20 million watching knew that anyway, us original newarkers will always love you.
