  1. I have to admit that I sometimes forget where all this JB phenomenom began. It was back in North Newark in the summer of ’63 where I first heard my brothers crooning “Sherry” under the project street lights. If it wasn’t for my love of Frankie Valli, my interest in JB probably would have never been sparked. Thanks for all the memories Mr. Valli from way back then to the present. Have a very happy and healthy birthday!

  7. From the 1st time I watched you in SF during the 70′s, enjoying your portrayal of Rusty Milio in the Sopranos, to meeting you in person in New York City last October, I remember listening to your songs while growing up in Jersey City and on Long Island so much that when I returned back to SF, I was pleasantly surprised that my friends in CA also loved listening to the “Four Seasons Sound”!

Happy Birthday and best wishes for many, many more!

  9. Happy Birthday! It was a pleasure meeting you in NY in October. You were so kind to pose for picures. Thank you for sharing your talent, your music, your time and your story to many fans like me who have come to know and admire The Four Seasons through Jersey Boys. Sometimes life works backwards, too!
    God bless you.

  10. Dear Mr. Valli,

I’ve seen you perform live countless times, and, in fact, will be attending your latest tour when you play in Danbury, CT in July, and have been to the August Wilson Theatre on four occasions to see the Broadway smash, “Jersey Boys.” I have been a fan of you and The Four Seasons since discovering your “sound” back in the early ’70′s. I just wanted to take this opportunity to wish you a most happy birthday. So, here’s to your continued success and the ongoing phenomenon that “Jersey Boys” has become!!! May you and the show enjoy many, many more years to come!!!!

  13. Frankie, I clearly remember the first time I heard Sherry in 1962 and insisting my father buy the album, which was my first LP. I have a wonderful memory of being with my father and hearing “My Eyes Adored You” for the first time in November, 1974, and my father commenting, “Wow, Frankie’s back again.”

Well, when I saw you on the Tony’s standing and clapping enthusiastically for Christian (I had missed the live performance), I looked up and said to my father (now long gone), “Well Dad, he’s back yet again.” And this time, it’s forever, Frankie. Happy birthday and thank you for bringing us all together to celebrate with you and for your great legacy.

  14. I’m not one who generally believes these notes get read by the VIP’s, but what other opportunity is there for a guy who’s loved pop/rock music since the early sixties and (yet another) whose first album was “Sherry and Eleven Others” to say…thank you, Frankie. You’ve been a part of my life since I was ten.

Happy birthday. You still look and sound great. Looking forward to your May 23 concert with Smokey.
